My Mackie SRM450 Speaker wont turn on. is it a fuse? how do i change it? Repair it?

I Just hot this speaker off ebay and it turns out the it doesnt power on, they are normally 400 each so i got for 132. i guess its just the fuse does anyone know how to change one??

If it is a sealed plug, you would probably have to take it down to a hardware store or buy another lead WITH THE CORRECT POWER RATING. If you get this wrong, it could blow the speakers.



Otherwise, you can unscrew it and change the fuse that way. Likewise, you need to get a fuse with the correct maximum load.

That is too bad...it may have an internal fuse. You will need to remove the back and look around near near where the plug goes in. Make sure it is unplugged first.



If you replace the fuse and it blows again, you will need to return it to Mackie.
