I pulled out the central lock fuse on my wife's 2002 bmw 325 and now the key remote won't work. It will actually work until she puts the key in. Since this is an OBD-II car, (On Board Diagnostics II) it is very possible that the program for the remote central locking has been disturbed or damaged. You can go to a BMW dealer and ask to have the remote central locking system re-programmed. Hopefully this will take care of your problem.
