Looking for some advice on Electrical Fuse boards?

Hi, could anyone help me. I am trying to change the fuse board in my house. Ive taken out the old one and i am wondering how do i wire up this thing, the rcd for the plug circuits i think. Im not sure what to do. I have all the wires marked so will I just wire it back the way it was on the old one? there was none on that one so i could just leave it? It says rcd on it and it has four connections. 63a is also on it. If someone could help that would be great, Thx.Looking for some advice on Electrical Fuse boards?
My gosh, man! You could get yourself electrocuted in a flash. Get a licensed electrician to do this job for you, or you could even burn your house down if a wrong connection overheats. I DO HOPE your are just kidding, here! Good luck,Looking for some advice on Electrical Fuse boards?

You're clearly insane.

GET AN ELECTRICIAN IN!

Those circuit breakers might be the only thing stopping you from electrocution if a domestic appliance shorts out. There is no DIY option unless you know exactly what you're doing with the meter tails, etc.Looking for some advice on Electrical Fuse boards?

Dont think this is a job for the faint hearted . it should be a 32 amp breaker for the sockets or an rcbo (residual circuit breaker)

You may be talking about the main rcd switch if is marked 63a

and it looks like a main switch you would just wire it up the same as the old one though it should be marked which is live , Neutral load and supply sides .

I dont think you should be trying this if you are not 100 percent sureLooking for some advice on Electrical Fuse boards?
apart from being illegal and dangerous you really ought to get an electrician to fix it for you.

your house insurance wont be worth zip if it causes any problems.

the 63a=63 amp loading by the way. I decline to add more as I don't want to be a party to such actions.Looking for some advice on Electrical Fuse boards?
Pick up the telephone and call a competent electrician in. You don't have the necessary skills or experience to do this yourself.Looking for some advice on Electrical Fuse boards?
Don't attempt this - you are breaking the law and you might kill yourself or start a house fire.

I am a qualified electrician and have seen too many DIY disasters - recently I replaced a consumer unit which had caught fire in a cupboard - luckily the owners were in and could smell the burning.

You need to know the Wiring Regulations in detail and be classed as a 'Competent Person' in order to install a new consumer unit. Also, this is a notifiable job to the local Building Control'. Get a qualified electrician in (e.g. NAPIT Registered) - check that he/she has a proper ID card.

The job should cost 拢150 - 拢200 to do it properly - BE SAFE!!
