How do I change and old car fuse box that uses round fuses to the new ones that cars use now??

I own a 1977 Monte Carlo and want to change the old fuse box the one it has now is the old school round glass fusesHow do I change and old car fuse box that uses round fuses to the new ones that cars use now??
i own a repair shop,and id go get one from a newer Monte Carlo and use it its easier to wire one of these in,,than it is to use one from painless wiring,,they named there wiring harnesses wrong,they are pain full to work with ..been there and done that before,just go with the newer one from a newer Monte Carlo,,its better,,good,,luck,i hope this help,s.How do I change and old car fuse box that uses round fuses to the new ones that cars use now??
The only way to do it properly is to have an auto tech un-wire every circuit and wire in and mount the new one. a real pain but dont try to short cut it. you could catch it on fireHow do I change and old car fuse box that uses round fuses to the new ones that cars use now??

Sterling M is correct. Fix the problem,you may check the headlight switch also, but you will not fix the problem by changing the fuse style.How do I change and old car fuse box that uses round fuses to the new ones that cars use now??
hi there



check grounds in the front clip, and check the dimmer switch, the problme is not with the fuse panel



dont get yourself into a disaster choipping up the entire harness to do something as crazy as trying to put a later style panel in it



you dont need to



the problem is not because of the panel



it will be a worn out component or a bad ground or bad plug connection somewhere



clean everything including all grounds and if no luck then replace switches
