i have a chubb alarm system and whilst trying to change the bulb in the outside light the alarm started going off and is now making a growling noise!!!! have changed the fuse, checked the fuse box and turned power on and off but its still at it!

Only shut off lighting circuit,not alarm circuit also,If the alarm is on RCD then it needs a lecky in to reposition as no alarm needs to be on rcd.How do i change the outside light without my alarm going off?
The mains should be on all the time, make sure there is mains at your chubb alarm.
